How to Bid with Us.

Online bidding from registration to collection — straightforward, transparent and based directly on our Conditions of Sale.

Register to Bid

All bidders, users and buyers must register before bidding. Full details including a valid email address must be provided in order to receive approval. In some cases a refundable holding deposit is required — details will be listed prior to auction.

Browse & Bid

Place bids online via our platform. If a bid is received within 2 minutes of the scheduled closing time, the bidding period on that lot will automatically revert back to 2 minutes and will continue to extend with any further late bid. Refresh your screen so you are aware of current bids.

Pay & Collect

All purchases are to be paid in full, no later than 48 hours after the sale, by online, card or bank transfer. Collection 3 working days after the sale only and must be booked online. Viewings on Fridays by appointment.

Common questions.

What buyer’s premium do you charge?

The purchaser will pay a Buyer’s Premium at a 20% rate plus VAT on each lot purchased and 15% plus VAT on vehicle sales. Buyer’s Premium is charged on all lots. The premium is not negotiable and will be paid by all buyers.

How do I pay for my purchases?

Payments may be made by online, card or bank transfer. All purchases are to be paid in full no later than 48 hours after the sale. Failure to make payment within 48 hours after the sale will result in your account being blocked and further action being taken.

When can I collect my lots?

Collection is 3 working days after the sale only and must be booked online. Failure to collect within this time will result in your account being blocked and lots resold for the recovery of storage charges without reference to the purchaser.

Can I view items before bidding?

Yes. We are open for viewings on Fridays, via appointment only. All lots are sold without warranty or guarantee and are “SOLD AS SEEN”, and all buyers are encouraged to view prior to bidding.

Do you ship lots?

Rosan Reeves Auctions does not undertake packaging, postage, delivery or shipment of goods (unless by prior expressed agreement) — the bidder must make their own arrangements to comply with the clearance terms.

What about electrical items?

All electrical items are sold as “Electrical Scrap” and should be “PAT” tested prior to use. No warranty or guarantee is given regarding condition, quality or functionality. It is recommended that buyers have these items examined by a qualified electrical contractor before use.

What if I’m an overseas bidder?

Overseas bidders should contact the office prior to bidding.
