This lot comprises a coffee table created from a repurposed rectangular metal storage trunk finished in brown paint. The piece is mounted on four black metal hairpin legs. The trunk features a hinged lid with a raised ribbed design, secured by two front-mounted metal latches, and two metal drop-handles for transport. The interior provides an open storage compartment where the silver-toned nuts and bolts for the leg attachments are visible. The interior base of the trunk features embossed characters reading C / 0 2 / C O O 1 W K J D W P – 8 0. The exterior body and lid are marked with multiple cream-coloured adhesive tape labels printed with the letters F Q and G D. A small black circular graphic stamp is applied to the front right-hand side, though the design is not legible.
