This lot comprises a large red fabric-covered storage trunk containing an assortment of ladies occasion hats and fascinators. The trunk is constructed with a red canvas exterior, black trim, and brass-tone hardware including reinforced corners, two flip-action latches, and two side carry handles. It is fitted with a central hasp and a circular brass-tone padlock. A small rectangular metal plate is affixed to the lower front centre which reads www.storagetrunks.co.uk and MADE IN ENGLAND. The interior is finished with a white textured lining.
The collection includes assorted millinery in various colours and styles suitable for weddings or racing events. Featured items include a yellow wide-brimmed sinamay hat with a black mesh bow and feather detail, a purple tiered crown hat with matching feather embellishments, a dove grey wide-brimmed hat with a multi-layered crown, and a tan straw hat with a ribbon band and floral ornament.
