The lot includes the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition Monstrous Compendium Volume One (product code 2102) by TSR, Inc., featuring the original cardboard box, a white vinyl three-ring binder, and loose-leaf monster entries including the instructions for the blank monster form and a printed art insert by Daniel R. Horne. Also present is the TSR Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Forgotten Realms Campaign Set (1987), which comprises the original box, the Cyclopedia of the Realms booklet, the DM Sourcebook of the Realms, and four large-format colour fold-out maps of the campaign setting. The collection further includes the Circus Maximus chariot racing tactical simulation board game by The Avalon Hill Game Company (1980), containing the box, folding game board, instruction manual, performance chart logs, and a sheet of cardboard playing counters. Condition report:
The boxes show typical shelf wear, including edge rubbing, corner scuffing, and light creasing to the lids. The vinyl binder is in good used condition. Internal paper components, including booklets and maps, appear well-preserved with bright colours and minimal age-related yellowing. The Circus Maximus counters remain mostly unpunched within a plastic bag. Overall in good vintage condition consistent with play and age.
