A chest of four long drawers of equal depth, constructed from knotty pine throughout with a polished, warm honey-toned finish. The piece features a rectangular top with rounded edges over four full-width drawers, each fitted with a pair of matching turned pine knob handles. The chest stands on a solid plinth base which incorporates a decorative scalloped apron to the front. The design is typical of late 20th-century rustic pine furniture widely produced in the United Kingdom. Width 81 cm, Depth 43.5 cm, Height 79 cm.
Condition report:
The chest is in good used condition. The top surface displays some light surface scratches and a faint circular mark. There are minor scuffs and small knocks to the edges of the carcass and the plinth base consistent with age and functional use.
