The cabinet features a rectangular form with a drop-down cupboard door complete with its key, sitting above a lower section decorated with vertically-reeded fronts. On the left, the top opens to reveal a mechanical lift-up mechanism that raises an enclosed vintage sewing machine. The cabinet is raised on four tapered legs and comes with a loose matching rectangular teak-veneered top cover panel. The integrated vintage sewing machine is finished in a cream and dark brown colourway, bearing a metal nameplate reading DIPLOMAT SUPER in block capitals. Condition report:
The cabinet shows light surface scratches, minor scuffs, and some wear to the veneer edges consistent with age and use. The lift-up mechanical compartment and the vintage sewing machine are untested. The key is present and the lock is operational.
